LeClair, the team's leading scorer with 11 goals and 17 points, fell awkwardly into the left-wing boards in the Pittsburgh zone after a collision with Penguins defenseman Marc Bergevin with 6:16 left in the period. The Flyers returned to practice on Thursday at the Flyers Skate Zone in preparation for Friday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Head Coach Ken Hitchcock updated John LeClair's status, who injured his shoulder in Wednesday night's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
"John LeClair is going to have a Cat scan and MRI tomorrow (Friday). How significant the injury is to the shoulder, we really don't know," said Hitchcock.
"He (LeClair) will be missing significant time and we'll hope for the best there isn't any more ligament or rotator cuff damage," added Hitchcock.
Guy Lefebvre will play left wing in LeClair's absence.
