This week saw the debut of tough guy John Craighead, who was sent down to get into game shape after signing a two-year contract with the Canucks. In his first game, John got into a fight and marginally won a fight over Portland toughguy Mel Angelstad with several quick lefts. Angelstad is widely known as a very good fighter in the AHL. Craighead again fought Saturday night against Worcester, then received boarding and roughing penalties, and a misconduct against Lowell on Sunday evening after Moose teammates stuck up for Steve Kariya, who was levelled by Lowell defenseman Igor Knyazev. from: "Down on the farm" on canucksalmanac
