Kanadier Jason Dawe kommt aus Hartford zu den Lions
Wie am Freitag durchsickerte, ist sich Frankfurt Lions Manager Bernie Johnston mit dem 28 jährigen Außenstürmer Jason Dawe, der in wenigen Tagen seinen 29. Geburtstag feiert, über einen Einjahresvertrag einig. Dawe, der im vergangen Jahr in Hartford in 79 Spielen 28 Tore erzielte und 37 auflegte, soll er der rechte Flügerstürmer der 1. Reihe der Lions werden. Als Center soll der in Frankfurt sehnlichst erwartete Len Barrie verpflichtet werden. Seine Unterschrift steht allerdings noch aus.
Dawe galt Mitte der 90er jahre als eines der großen Talente in der NHL, spielte in Buffalo, bei den New York Islanders, in Montreal und bei den New York Rangers.
Eine offizielle Bestätigung von Seiten der Frankfurt Lions wird für den Anfang der kommenden Woche erwartet.

hallo erstmal, das ist mein erster eintrag
also scheint kein schlechter zu sein, mal abwarten ob es stimmt und wie er mit dem deutschen eishockes zurechtkommt.
ich will nicht persimistisch sein, aber cullaton war auch von den stats her sehr, sehr gut, wir brauchen mehr informationen über ihn, um über seine qualtitäten bescheid zu wissen. stats sind ja nicht alles
NY Rangers
cullaton hat auch nicht Jahre lang NHL gespielt und hat in der ECHL und nicht AHL gespielt
Aber trotzdem hast du recht und mann sollte nicht soviel Wert auf die Stats legen
ja natürlich ist dei ahl nicht mit der ehcl zu vergleichen, aber zu frühe euphorie ist auch nicht sooooo gut, natürlich freue ich mich über die verpflichtung, aber ersta mal abwarten.
