In Antwort auf: Here's my impression of him, others may disagree, but this is how I see it:
Dawe is a decent player. Not great, but better than many others out there. He was one of the few members of the Wolf*Pack who showed that hustle and determination that I love throughout the entire season. It was especially nice to see him giving everything he had after missing practically all of the 2000-2001 season due to injury. He can be a scorer if he is on a line with the right people. By himself, he won't do anything too amazing, but if paired with the right people, he could be part of a spectacular line.
But damn, I would have loved to see him back in Hartford next year, its a shame he's going to Europe. It seems to be a requirement now for the Pack to lose one pretty good player to Europe every off-season. Good luck to Jason wherever he ends up.
In Antwort auf: Not a fighter by any means, but since he's so short he likes to raise his elbows a lot... Good face-off man who isn't afraid to go into the corners (elbows raised of course...) He is fast, can stick handle in a phone booth, but he's more of a set-up kind of guy than a scorer...
Like g_w_p mentioned, he's a good player... Spent considerable time in the NHL with Buffalo, Montreal, and the Islanders before getting stuck in the quicksand of the Rangers' farm team... He should do well in the European game...

In Antwort auf:He's little and tough. Not afraid to hit, got a scoring touch, he's a great guy on and off the ice, really funny, takes the game almost too seriously though, he has a bad game, his wife always looks like shes scared he's going to go jump off a cliff. I think that you will enjoy watching him, and we will miss him in Hartford.
